Dry, tough, sharp, nasty pepper from the harshest climate of Afghanistan. This pepper has very nasty, dry, bitter taste, without any sweetness when eaten fresh, tough skin makes it even worse. However, when dried and used as powders, the pepper has very strong hot-acidic taste which may not be found in other chilies. Not recommended for any use other than powders, flakes, or rubs. It works great as an ingredient for marinating meat, especially chicken.
