Trinidad Cherry


Mild to sweet c.chinense from Trinidad; this Cherry has a good crunchy firm flesh, makes it perfect for raw eating with salads or in sandwiches for those who like the Trinidadian flavor  but can’t tolerate the heat, the pod starts light green, turning orange, and finally bright red. It can be eaten any stage, we have pickled some pods, they stay chucky even after pickling. The plant is small and grows well in containers.
